Petronas Twin Tower

Towering 451.9 metres over the city,this gleaming structure of steeel and glass is the world’s tallest freestanding twin towers.A world renowed icon of Malaysia,it’s truly an awesome sight by day and night.Take a ride to the 41st floor for that ‘top of the world’ feeling,as you survey KL from the famous sky bridge.Nearby is the Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) Park-an aesthetically pleasing landscaped area,featuring indigenous tree and palms,scultures and murals and fountain displays.The towers are open daily to the public except on monday.Admission to the Sky Bridge is free.The ticket counter opens between 8.30am-5.00pm.Go early to avoid disappointment.


KL Tower

Dataran Merdeka/Merdeka Square
KL’s Merdeka or Independence Square is one of the most visited sites in the city.At this historic location,the Union Jack was lowered on 31st August 1957,marking the end of the British era and the birth of the nation.The field here was the focal point of KL in the old days,serving as a police parade ground and venue for cricket matches and other sporting activities.Flanking the square are the Selangor Club;a charming mock-Tudor structure and the stately Moorish styled sultan Abdul Samad Building.


KL Bird Park

National Monument
The National Monument is located at Jalan Parlimen,Kuala Lumpur and is just opposite the Lake Gardens. The monument is visited by many tourists that come to the city of Kuala Lumpur. The memorial site was built to remember and pay tribute to the soldiers who lost their lives defending the sovereignty of the country against enemy’s invasion. The ceremony to commemorate the passing of these valiant soldiers are held here every year.

King’s Palace



Surrounded by a beautiful park, green lawns and ponds the King´s Palace, Istana Negara, is the official residence of the Yang Di-Pertuan Agong, a Malay title usually translated as “Supreme Head”. You can watch the Palace from outside the main gate where the Royal Guards, dressed in white Malay as well as red British inspired uniforms, are guarding the main gate on horse and on foot.
